Our mission:
EB+FLO’s mission is to change the landscape of the fashion industry by prioritizing sustainability, transparency, quality, and respect for both people and the planet. As a brand born out of the founder’s dissatisfaction with exploitative practices, EB+FLO aims to offer an ethical, environmentally-conscious alternative to fast fashion.
I am Anneke, I have been a dressmaker my whole life. After studying Fashion, and working in the local and then off-shore industry. I started to become jaded by the industry’s exploitation of people and the environment.
I remember when the leading brands; made quality, durable garments that would last many years. To become your old favourite trackies and slouch tees. If we were going to do this, it had to align with my values. So I wanted to offer a better alternative.

QUALITY
So much compasses this word.
Our garments are made from premium organic, natural fabrics. Including Cottons (ACO), Merino Cottons (jersey, fleece) and Bamboo. These are industry tested, ethically sourced, biodegradable, and certified using sustainable farming (OEKO-TEX 100. ISO14001 ENVIRONMENTALLY MANAGED. LEIP PRODUCED* (Low Environment Impact Process).
The fabric/trims are what makes the quality and durability of a garment, so we invest in our fabrication. To provide quality, comfortable core basic garments that will last for several years.
KIND TO PEOPLE & PLANET
At least 20+ people have helped create your garment. From the cotton picker to the quality controller. Everyone does their bit.
Paying fair honest wages, is important. As we believe if you help people it will help us all. We make our garments as local as we can, supporting the NZ/AU wool industry and providing work to NZ cutters & sewing machinists.
By only using the best natural fabrics, these are superior in functionality. So are comfortable to wear, breathes and moves with the body. #bekindtoyou
ZERO WASTE ETHOS
We only have one planet Earth. So we do our best to reduce our footprint. By offering slow fashion styling that doesn’t date.
Minimising fabric wastage, repurposing fabric offcuts (through gifting/composting and new product ideas), and using natural biodegradable packaging.
TRANSPARENCY
People are conditioned to expect clothing to be cheap. That is due to the fast fashion mentality, and using cheap imported labour and materials. Not realising the true cost on the people and the planet.
